Wouldja believe that the Military Health System (MHS) has an official blog? It’s true - check it out at MHS Blog. It’s authored by the Assistant Secretary of Defense for Health Affairs (OASD/HA), Dr. Ward Casscells, along with a host of other MHS higher-ups, such as former Air Force medic Colonel Chuck Campbell (now retired). True, it’s not really “behind the scenes” blog, but that’s to be expected with a military blog. It’s primarily a public-relations arm, but it presents information in a much more casual manner than formal press releases and news articles. Good start - go visit and leave a few comments!
